Amazon’s new Kindle has been released in India. Here are its characteristics

Amazon’s new Kindle has finally been released in India and can be purchased for ₹8,999 (for a limited time only). The Kindle has a 6-inch screen, a 16GB internal display and a USB Type-C port

Good news for Kindle lovers – the popular reading device is getting a long-awaited update. The new variant will offer increased storage space and a better screen. Amazon claims this is the smallest and lightest Kindle they’ve shipped.

Amazon Kindle features

The latest Amazon Kindle comes with a 6-inch screen that has a 300 PPI screen. This means that it will have 3 times more pixels than the previous model. The device has an adjustable front light and a dark mode feature to allow users to read at night. It also has the X-ray functionality that Amazon had equipped Amazon Prime – it provides additional details about the people or places discussed in the e-book. It also has a built-in dictionary that you can access at any time to look up a word’s meaning.

The new Kindle comes with an internal history of 16 GB, which is a significant increase over the storage space offered in previous generations. It has a USB Type-C port, which means you can charge the device using an Android charger.

Amazon has revealed that the new Kindle is made from 90% recycled magnesium. The battery should last 6 weeks on a single charge. According to the brand, the setup process has also become easier.

Amazon Kindle price

The new Kindle can already be bought on Amazon. It is available for ₹8,999 (currently there is a limited time offer on the price). When the deal ends, the device will cost INR 9,999. The new Kindle is available in two colors, Denim and Black.

The brand sells its own fabric covers designed for the Kindle, and these are available in black, pink, denim and dark emerald. These are available for INR 1,799.
