The pure player services company Microsoft stood out this year for its technical expertise in Microsoft technologies. This expertise earned it last July the partner of the year award for “technical skills (technical skills) for France.
This award, Expertime owes it to the validation of three advanced certifications of the new Microsoft Cloud Partner Program. Certifications obtained even before the program went into effect on October 3. Expertime thus has advanced certifications in the designations Data & IA (data analysis), Digital & app innovation (modernization of applications) and Business applications (development of business applications).
“This number of advanced certifications is unusual for a partner of our size,” emphasizes Philippe Luzet, the company’s CEO. This shows the level of our engagement with Microsoft. For Expertim, this represents more than 110 certifications passed by its employees over the past year. A very significant number for this company of 200 employees.
This Microsoft award – the third for the company, which had already been awarded in 2010 and 2016 – comes as excellence grows. Revenue thus increased by 18% in 2021 to reach €18.5 million, and the 2022 financial year should end with comparable growth.
The catalyst for this growth has been its regional expansion, which has allowed the company, whose head office is in Viroflay (Yvelines), to attract many profiles that it would not have captured under other circumstances. The workforce has thus increased from 140 to 200 people in two years. And Philippe Luzet envisions recruiting another 50 to 60 people in 2023.
The company has thus developed significantly in Nantes, where its teams are located across its entire area of activity. It has also been present in Lyon for three years now with around twenty people, representing all its areas of expertise there as well. And it has been established in Aix-en-Provence since the end of 2021 with a team of four people.
The pursuit of this regional expansion will be one of its two major challenges for 2023 with the launch of its GreenOps strategy.
