In Britain, football is almost a religion. The English Premier League (Premier League) also seen as the best championship in the world.

And a player tortures defenders from English clubs. His name: Erling Haaland. Since arriving at Manchester City at the beginning of the season, the cyborg (his nickname) has crushed everything in his path.

19 goals and 3 assists in 12 games

The proof in the statistics: 19 scored goals and 3 assists to his name in just 12 games played. Statistics worthy of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. In comparison, Kylian Mbappé is “just” on 11 goals in 11 games this year.

The Norwegian Erling Haaland is so strong that a (humorous) petition has been launched to exclude him from Great Britain.

The rationale: “it’s a robot”. In two days this petition has gained more than 2 million signatures.

Now closed and removed from the government’s website, which collects complaints from citizens, the petition must have reached his ears, the man whose country has not qualified for the next World Cup. And watch out for his response, this Saturday, against Southampton.
