Microsoft Create, the perfect ally of social networks

At its annual Ignite event this year, Microsoft announced a set of new tools for creators, one of the most exciting being a new web platform, Microsoft Create. And less than a month after the announcement, Microsoft officially launched a preview of the site that gives users access to creative apps and services available as part of their Microsoft 365 subscription.

Microsoft Create, templates to revolutionize social networks

Microsoft describes Create as “the ultimate launchpad for creators” to create creative videos, graphic design documents, presentations and more. The Redmond-based giant believes its professionally designed templates and content creation apps will help anyone create something “inspiring,” and you don’t need any design experience to do so.

To get started, visit the Microsoft Create website now and get creative with presentations, video social media posts, printed birthday cards, and more. All templates are fully customizable and organized by social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). We can also organize it by theme (eg birthdays, budgets or brochures).

Since the website is in beta, don’t expect it to be perfect. As Microsoft pointed out, there are currently some limitations. The website is only available in English and some templates require registration to customize them. In this way, you gain early access to Microsoft Designer.

Microsoft has not provided any information on when the Microsoft Create site will end the preview. The first tests we have been able to do are very interesting. We’ll see how Microsoft improves this new platform over time, but the inclusion of Designer and ClipChamp looks spectacular. We will see if this new attempt from Microsoft has the expected success or if it has the same success as Remix 3D.
