The musical SpongeBob SquarePants is touring the UK and Ireland

After its American run, the musical spongebob lands in the UK next year.

The show will tour throughout the UK and Ireland. It will also play for five weeks in London at the Queen Elizabeth Hall from 26 July to 26 August 2023.

Musical comedy spongebob is based on characters from Nickelodeon’s eponymous animated series. We will therefore find Bob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Sandy on songs signed by stars such as Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Sara Bareilles, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith.

The show premiered in 2016 in Chicago. At the 72nd Tony Awards ceremony, the show, which was nominated in 12 categories, won only the Tony for Best Interior Design.
