Viola Davis, currently on screens by The female kingcame on board to perform and produce G20an action thriller from Amazon Studios and MRC Film.
Patricia Riggen, who directed 33 and miracles from heavenwill direct the feature with Davis and Julius Tennon, her husband and partner at JuVee Productions, joining Mad Chance’s Andrew Lazar as producers.
Screenplay by Noah and Logan Miller (White Boy Rick), with revisions by Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss (The Red Lion), takes place at the G20 summit, which is overtaken by terrorists. Davis plays the role of the US President, named Taylor Sutton, who must bring all his political and military experience to defend his family, his fellow leaders and of course the world.

G20 was developed with MRC Film. The Amazon Original Movie will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world upon release.
Beyond the lining The female kingDavis can also be seen in cameo form in New Line’s black adam, reprising her role as badass government agent Amanda Waller. She also played this role in the HBO Max hit Peacemaker series earlier this year.
